We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent Senior Accountant to support our growing finance team and play an important role in the day-to-day accounting needs of the business. You will assist with the development of our systems, be involved in the monthly financial reporting and close processes alongside owning the day-to-day transactional postings.

As an Accountant at Applied Value you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to senior management. In this position you report directly to Head of Finance and the role is based at the Office in central Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.

· Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.

· Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.

· Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and drive operational efficiency.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business objectives and growth initiatives.

· Support external audits and tax filings as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position is someone with good problem-solving skills and the ability to excel under pressure. · Degree or equivalent in accounting/economics.

· Over 5 years of experience in various accounting roles.

· Knowledge of closing procedures, accounting duties, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

· Proficient in financial computer software.

· Strong understanding of mathematics.

· Proficiency in Excel.

· Good knowledge of Fortnox.

· Fluency in Swedish, and comfortable in working in English
